How much does counselling cost?
At Keystone Counselling Services Ltd., we offer a free Initial Consultation over the phone or in person to explore the possibility of working together as well as to answer any questions you have about our services and the counselling process. Follow-up Counselling Therapy sessions with Paul, which can include Accelerated Resolution Therapy sessions, are 60-75 minutes long and cost $160 a session. These sessions aim to achieve your goals, with regular check-ins to ensure good results. Follow-up Supportive Counselling sessions with Sarah, which can include NeurOptimal®, are 60 mins long and cost $80 a session.
Will my insurance cover these services?
The following third-party health insurance companies have approved services provided by ACTA Counselling Therapists and/or Registered Social Workers for direct billing or reimbursement, depending on your individual plan: Equitable Life Canada Green Shield Johnston Group Manulife Medavie Sun Life TELUS Health Please confirm if your individual plan will provide coverage of Counselling Therapy or Social Work expenses.
What happens in a counselling session?
When you first meet with your counsellor, they will collaborate with you to discern relevant goals, and develop the process to achieving those goals. At follow-up sessions, you will both continue to refine those goals and seek to understand and resolve the concerns that brought you in for help. Throughout the counselling process, your counsellor will provide you with tools and strategies to move you forward from where you are now to where you want to be.
Do you offer online counselling sessions?
Yes, we offer online counselling sessions for clients who prefer remote support or cannot attend in-person sessions. This allows for greater flexibility and convenience.
